Absolutely the best vet we have ever been to. Everyone is so caring and professional. And, our pup Daisy loves them! They take their time explaining what they recommend for your fir baby and they care so much. They never make you feel like you are being rushed into making a decision about anything and I didn't feel like I was being judged. I also love that you wait in the car and they come and get your baby from the car for vaccinations and then bring them back to you. It gives our pup some independence away from us. It was the best experience I have ever had at the vet. It means so much to find great care for your animals! I feel so thankful and blessed to have found them!
We saw Dr. Chiu for the first time two weeks ago, and the experience completely changed our dog Max’s life. We had been taking Max to Old Town Animal Hospital for about a year while he was being treated for cancer. Over time he ended up on four different pain medications and became extremely sick. His condition got so bad that we had made the heartbreaking decision to put him down. Two weeks ago we met Dr. Chiu. She carefully evaluated Max and made the decision to take him off all of the medications he had been on and start a new treatment plan. The results have been nothing short of amazing. Just two weeks later, Max is back to living a normal life. His tumors have shrunk, he is eating again, and he is acting like himself. It honestly feels like a miracle. Dr. Chiu is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients. We are beyond grateful for the care she gave Max and for giving him a second chance. We owe this turnaround to her, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a vet who will truly go the extra mile for their animals
Both of my fur babies are patients at Old Towne Animal Hospital. We absolutely love the team here. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Both of my babies are so spoiled when they have their visits. I love how accessible the team is. You can easily text them questions / concerns and they get back to you pretty quickly. We are patients of Dr. Genie Caballero and she is the very very best. I’ve recommended her to friends. She has fantastic bedside manner, is very loving, and warm (as is all the staff!). We love having Dr. Cab as our vet and are confident we are getting the best possible care whenever we go.
Sierra Pacific Great Pyrenees Rescue along with my personal animals have been coming to Old Towne Animal Hospital for approx. 16 yrs and before the current ownership, under Dr. Borman another 20 yrs (before he retired). Dr. Wooden owns the clinic and has been an invaluable resource to me and to the rescue dogs in our program. We have been caring for rescue dogs for over 36 yrs and in that time we've had many extremely critical cases; everything from gun shots, burns, broken bones and dogs near death due to severe illness and neglect. Dr. Wooden in my opinion comes as close to a veterinarian can to "walking on water". His compassion for the animals is exemplary and his surgical skills and knowledge has saved many animals that wouldn't otherwise be here today. Dr. Wooden and his staff has made a difference in the lives of all the animals he has care for through us. Additionally, his staff is very responsive and well qualified and offer care, second to none. The other veterinarians on staff at Old Towne have handled many emergencies that have come in on weekends and after hours, and have always been diligent about the care and treatments they have offered. I can't say enough good things about this practice and Dr. Wooden. So much so, that I travel 30 minutes each way to take all of our animals there. Dr. Wooden and his staff were amazing. He was able to see our dog quickly when we thought she might have a twisted stomach. They wanted to make sure if that was the case, we knew ASAP since we would need to make a decision on surgery. Thankfully, we received better news! This was by far the best experience I had at a vet office ever. 6 stars. Also, reasonably priced. Especially for a last minute appoinment.
