Our Little Chihuahua named Chuey passed away unexpectedly. He was 15 years old. All we could do was cry about his passing. Are beautiful daughter-in-law told us to go ahead and bring him up here for his cremation. I had no idea how wonderful these people are. I am honestly in awe of the service they provide and how wonderful they are. I do know that I will be coming here for any pet care that I may need for my other animals. When you walk through the door Avis clinic there is a lovely girl that is so sweet and so helpful. There's another lady in there who doesn't seem to look like she cares for anyone. But don't let that bother you because this is the spot. Let me tell you I've never said that about any veterinarian I've ever been to ever. Honestly I feel like every place I've ever went they just wanted to bleed me dry. It's like so it's taking hostage of your emotional well-being. But I really enjoyed meeting everybody here. Thank you Rachel for introducing me to this clinic. I will be a customer for life.
We drive 30 minutes from Folsom to Auburn specifically for the excellence of small animal/exotic pet care that Companion Vet provides. Dr. Sanchez and her team are incredible. From the warm welcome you receive at the front desk, to the compassion, competence and attention to detail from the techs/nurses and Dr. Sanchez herself, we could not be happier. Our senior rescue guinea pig Walter is 6 going on 7 this year because of them, and we are thrilled that we get to make the rest of his years the best of his years. Thank you SO much.
My pup was very sick and Dr. Heidi only ordered labs and tests that were necessary to diagnose him. I appreciated the excellent care and how they took care of my wallet as well. Cooper made a full recovery with their help and we are very grateful for Dr Heidi and all the staff that helped treat him.
Companion has brought our senior boy back to life and we are so grateful. Toby’s health was declining abruptly (not eating, vomiting and extremely lethargic) we needed to get him checked out quick. Companion was open and we were able to bring him in that same morning. After diagnosing hyperthyroidism, it all made sense. Toby is now on medication and within a week he has returned back to his cuddly, loving and goofy self. We are so thankful for Companion and relieved we have a vet in the area we trust.
I cannot speak highly enough about this veterinary clinic. Not only are they professional, helpful, and caring, they also treat reptiles which is difficult to find. They even have a drop off which really helped when my red-eared slider needed attention. I only paid $69 for the visit which was below my expectation. Please note, that was for the examination. I felt very comfortable leaving my beloved pet in their care.
