Dr Dilley, Linda and Ashley were all great! They took great care of my girl, Roxy. I have used Loomis Basin many times through the years. They have saved my animals lives more than once. I don't live near them but it's always worth the drive in an emergency type situation. I love that you can book an appointment online now. Roxy is doing great! Thanks to all!

I’ve always had good experiences at Loomis Basin Vet Clinic over many years. Most recently with Dr.Stack ,the cardiologist and his support staff. He’s helped get my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Silvia's arrhythmia stabilized. His kindness, patience and skill are so appreciated. Everyone from front office staff, vet techs and our veterinarian has been so caring to both me and Silvia. I’m so grateful quality speciality care for my sweet girl is available and comes with such kindness

On Friday, May 8, 2026 I was blindsided by a cancer diagnosis of a Soft Tissue Sarcoma on the throat of my 5yo male Doberman, Koa. My primary vet recommended immediate surgery for the best prognosis, but was unable to give me a date as they contracted out their specialty surgeries and wouldn’t know for weeks. Panicked, I contacted a friend who works at Loomis Basin who assured me they had excellent surgeons on staff. I left a message on Friday afternoon and their surgery center called me promptly Monday morning — surgery was scheduled for the next day.
From the moment we arrived, the entire team at Loomis Basin moved with purpose and empathy. Every interaction with every staff member was caring, professional, and genuinely compassionate. From Martie, the surgery coordinator, who had everything prepared for our arrival; to Maya, the receptionist who checked us in promptly; to Steve, the vet tech, whose reassuring care and concern for Koa did much to calm my nerves; to Dr. Miller, who sat with me before surgery, explained the procedure in clear terms, outlined the risks and his plan for the best possible margins, and gave me realistic hope without sugarcoating anything. His confidence and professionalism were immediately apparent, and I felt I was in the absolute best hands.
The surgery went smoothly, and the post-op care was outstanding. I was able to take him home that day. I received detailed discharge instructions, pain management guidance, and multiple follow-up calls from the staff to check on how Koa was recovering at home. They were responsive to every message I sent and adjusted his plan as needed.
Thanks to their swift scheduling and surgical skill, we achieved clean margins and my Doberman is now cancer-free with an excellent prognosis.
I couldn’t be happier with the results in spite of the seriousness of the diagnosis and the sizable scar. I highly recommend Loomis Basin VCA for anyone’s vet specialty needs.

Unfortunately, my dog was the recipient of his very first bee sting tonight. Luckily Loomis Basin Vet is not too far from my home and after many unsuccessful attempts at removing the bee stinger myself from my dogs lip, I found myself at their emergency room for help. Nobody likes to be at an emergency room with their pets and although my dog was not truly having an allergic reaction/emergency, the vet tech was eager to get our dog seen by the doctor so that they could remove the stinger. I was treated with kindness and understanding and left with extreme gratitude this evening after the Dr. removed it very quickly. THANK YOU 😊

We've been going to VCA Loomis Basin for years. Dr Alex Rensing is fantastic, she cares about the pets and takes the the time to make sure pet parents understand and make good choices for their furbabies best care. Support staff are also very caring and courteous and took the time to make sure all my questions and needs were met.
