Recently, my 12-year-old pit bull, Diesel, became sick. Our regular vet was closed, and I'm so glad we found this place. The news we received was difficult, and we had to make the painful decision of having him euthanized. We're grateful he was treated with so much gentleness and care. Our family was met with compassion and understanding. We were given the space and time to be with him in his last hours and grieve. We are grateful to everyone there. The doctor explained everything thoroughly and provided us with all of our options. The staff was caring and knowledgeable, and the paperwork was straightforward and explained clearly. We later received a card to keep as a keepsake. Saying goodbye to a pet is difficult, but with the folks at Vista Veterinary, it was just a little less painful. I highly recommend them.
When I checked in at almost 2 in the morning, the staff recognized that my dog was in distress and took care of him immediately. From then forward, everyone was amazing. They were caring, kind and awesome at what they do. My dog had to be hospitalized, and they were understanding of his anxiety issues and listened to my concerns for his psychological wellbeing as well as the physical. I can’t say enough about the staff - techs, nurses, veterinarians, everyone did a great job maneuvering a difficult time and helping to get my sweet dog feeling better.
We had the best experience with Vista Vet! The staff was so friendly. Dr. Cocherell was so thorough with her intake exam. My dog had to be hospitalized at Vista for 2 days and I appreciated receiving an update twice a day from the doctor on shift. I never felt rushed when receiving our updates and each doctor spent almost 10 minutes on the phone with us explaining the care our dog was receiving and answering all questions we had. I know our dog was in good hands while she got better. I would highly recommend Vista Vet when in need of emergency care for your pet.
The staff here is so amazing. I brought my baby in for monitoring and he had to stay a couple days. They gave me daily updates and kept me informed of my options. The facility is super nice, too. A very welcoming lobby. I would definitely bring my baby back if needed. They also gave him some choice drugs, haha 🤌🏻
If you’re in need of emergency vet services, I highly recommend Vista. My dog had to have an ultrasound and the techs were kind and efficient, and friendly to both me and my dog. The vets were very thorough in their explanations and took their time to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed like I have at other vet offices. Emergency services are always expensive so I can not fault them for that. Know that your fur babies will be in good hands at Vista.
